UNION LABEL

It made sense years ago to look for the union label and it still makes sense today.

If we want to fight the race to the bottom — outsourcing, privatizing, globalizing — we must defend union wages. To do that we need to purchase goods and services from providers whose workers are organized and protected by contracts. And to do this we need to know which providers are union.

The Union Label Department of the AFL-CIO constantly collects, updates and publishes this information, including "Do Buy" and "Boycott" lists as well as detailed information about vendors in a wide range of categories. To access this information go to their website: www.unionlabel.org.
