The AFL’s Labor News does mention such local CIO unions as the auto workers (UAW), the communication workers (CWA), the electrical workers (UE/IUE), the lithographers, the steelworkers (USWA), the textile workers and, of course, the clothing workers (ACWA — Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America), Rochester’s most powerful union during
